~Try to run everyday and try to increase either your distance or your total time running as you go through the summer. Getting a good base of mileage before school starts will be very critical as you do not want to start off on the 1st day of practice in the heat not having ran (unless circumstances prevent you from running this summer).
~We will get together a couple of days a week during the summer to run as a group (strictly voluntary) just so some runners who may be running on their own everyday have a chance to run with others.
~Make sure you get a sports physical before the 1st day of school. If you have gotten a physical already and it is dated after April 15th, 2011, then you can still use that one, otherwise you need to get another.
~1st day of school is August 1st, and we plan to have the 1st practice that same day. 3:15pm ~ 4:45pm
