This is one of the BEST career exploration/college information website.  It is aligned with the TN graduation requirements and the elective focus that is now required. http://tcids.tbr.edu/

It takes the student step by step thru the interest inventory to college search, salary comparisons, what majors match up with what careers, etc!  The colleges that offer the majors they are interested in (narrowing it by in-state or if they want to go out of state).

Hope Scholarship "Lottery"
The HOPE (Lottery) Scholarship is available for students who score a minimum of 21 on the ACT or a 3.0 GPA. Up to $4000.00 per year at an eligible four year TN post-secondary institution. Up to $2000.00 per year at an eligible two year school. The FAFSA must be completed to apply for the HOPE Scholarship. Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov or come by the Guidance office and get an application. If you intend to apply online, you must get a PIN number for both parent and student at www.pin.ed.gov

FINANCIAL AID
Free Application for Federal Student Aid:  All seniors along with their parents need to complete this by Feb 15th.  This is the application for all federal monies (grants and loans) as well as the TN Lottery Scholarship (Hope Scholarship). www.fafsa.ed.gov
