Mt. Juliet High School yearbook honored with appearance in Walsworth’s exclusive Possibilities book
Kansas City, Mo. (Oct. 29, 2010) – The Golden Leaf yearbook at Mt. Juliet High School has been chosen as one of the select few to be included in the 2010 edition of Walsworth Publishing Company's prestigious Possibilities publication.
Possibilities is an annual idea book produced by Walsworth that is designed to showcase some of the best work done by the company’s yearbooks over the previous year. The 288-page hardcover book serves as an idea generator for students across the nation, showing examples of outstanding theme development, design, writing and photography.
The 2010 volume of Possibilities features 623 examples from 187 yearbooks. Those examples represent a small percentage of Walsworth’s customer base, making an appearance in the book an exclusive accomplishment. Work appearing in this book is displayed at regional, state and national conventions and workshops throughout the year, and countless yearbook staffs across the country will refer to Possibilities as a premier source for inspiration.
The Mt. Juliet High School yearbook was produced under the direction of Glenda Hayes, yearbook adviser.
“I watched the hard work and dedication these students and their adviser put into creating this yearbook. Not many people produce a book in less than a year, never mind that these were students who had other classes and obligations during that time,” said Buz Watson, the Walsworth yearbook sales representative for the school.
“The students on this staff should be proud of the result – a book that the students at their school will cherish forever,” Watson said.
Walsworth, headquartered in Marceline, Mo., is the only family-owned yearbook publishing company in the United States. The company’s Sales and Marketing Department is located in Kansas City, Mo., with sales offices worldwide.
